The instant messaging app, Whatsapp is currently working on an update to enable users edit or even totally recall accidentally sent messages, and chats with typographical errors.
This new feature will be hailed by its users around the globe as it saves one a lot of embarrassment.
The update is currently available within its iPhone Beta software application. However, users have to enable this new feature as it is disabled by default.
In the new feature, the Edit option makes you able to edit the content of the message, while Revoke allows you to recall the text.
Sadly, this works only if your message hasn’t been viewed by the recipient.
In addition, Whatsapp is yet to state when or if this new feature will be made available for Android Beta users.
This is great news, but we only hope that Android users will be availed of this cringe-saving feature in due course.
